Affect of Light Color on the Rate of Photosynthesis:
Set the simulator to 6.0 Light Level, and 6.0 CO2 Level. Adjust the colors to complete the table.
1. Based on the data, what color of light results in the fastest rate of photosynthesis? Propose an explanation for these results.
~ The colorless bubbles had the fastest rate of photosynthesis, since the stimulator is able to show bubbles best in this colorless view.

Affect of Light Level on Photosynthesis:
2. Based on the data, what light level results in the fastest rate of photosynthesis? Propose an explanation for these results.
~ The light level ten had the fastest rate of photosynthesis, because the higher light level causes more light intensity. When there is more light level it causes the process of photosynthesis to increase.

~ The light level ten had the fastest rate of photosynthesis, because the higher light level causes more light intensity. When there is more light level it causes the process of photosynthesis to increase.
Affect of CO2 Level on Photosynthesis:
3. Based on the data, what CO2 level results in the fastest rate of photosynthesis? Propose an explanation for these results.
~ The CO2 level nine result was the fastest rate of photosynthesis. Co2 level nine was the fastest rate of photosynthesis, because too much CO2 is too little to process a fast rate of photosynthesis and more than nine is too much. The carbon dioxide needs to level out with the light level as well to perform a fast rate of photosynthesis.
4. Based on the stimulation experiments, what factors can affect the rate of photosynthesis in a plant? How do you know?
~ The light level and carbon dioxide level affects the photosynthesis rate in a plant, because a plant needs these two factors in order to create photosynthesis. THese two factors needs to be balanced, to have a steady and fast rate of photosynthesis.
5. Write the equation for photosynthesis?
~ CO2 + H2O = C6 H12 O6 + 02
6. What are the bubbles you are measuring in this lab? Why do you the bubbles tell how fast photosynthesis is occurring?
~ I am measuring the bubbles in this lab to know the rate of how fast the photosynthesis rate is. The bubbles tells me that photosynthesis is occurring, because the bubbles are oxygen which rise up. When photosynthesis occurs, it releases oxygen.
7. Why is it important that you keep two variables constant while you are testing how the third level affects the photosynthesis?
~ It is important to keep the two variables constant, because these two factors help balance the photosynthesis rate.
8. What settings can you put the stimulator on to get the Maximum rate of photosynthesis?
~ If the stimulator was put outside with enough sunshine (light level), it may increase the rate of photosynthesis to it's maximum.
